Expect the unexpected I've heard this said before and so I sit awaiting the devil's knock on my door. I feel I've lived in clarity 'neath blue and cloudless skies though those who know me well can see through my disguise. I find friends in all hours but mostly late at night I've always bonded best when sharing morning light. There's vibrato in the moment a new day strikes a clock it seems to always find me and help my mind unlock. Sometimes I fear for those who listened to these tales perhaps they didn't notice their lives becoming frail. For the devil's seeking secrets he's hunting for my sins and my friends have all stopped calling as his game slowly begins. * AMK
