May 16, 2016 ~

is that why the instigated creators seem to always have a wandering heart, a wandering mind? For it's never the absence, but the nurtured state of the imagination that breeds art. If it is stagnant, unmoved, it can fall into familiarity like the comfort and calm that repetition & routine can be. But it is the breaking of roles and shift of environment that can trigger a certain awakening, a certain acute awareness of one's own life. The full participation in again learning, and adapting. Ever evolving. Some fear change while others require it. I know why. Whether it be in home or work or relationships, one or all, to re-adjust is to grow, to say 'yes' to life and to accept the teachings it has to offer. I think long ago I agreed to always be a beginner, to always be learning, adapting, growing. Adjusting into one new space or place, or another. I need a project or focus outside of myself, nowadays I need to put my attention elsewhere. Being still organizes, and un-earths ~ uproots the beautiful happenings and challenges in expanded ways, while the ability to "go with the flow" during the rhythmic and chaotic cycles of life develops so much within. With and in our soulful selves. ~ May 18th - did the phrase "winds of change" come about because the wind literally changes the weather? It brings or removes rain clouds and heavy fog. It covers or releases the sun. The state of our environment shifts beneath the wind. ~
