Samhain 2016

Will you see me in the pre-dawn hour when night is deepest black, and all the shadows pile up so many I lose track. Will you hear me over coffee an early, languid hum, eyes still closed, mind adrift, as sunbeams slowly come. Will you taste my existence while high noon disappears and I’m lost in skies of blue living freely without fear. Will you smell me on the breeze when the day begins to drop, an ocean wave in desert land, a rare and vibrant crop. Will you touch me in the evening as I’m drawn down to the beach or mountain top, or open field, to feel the sunset in reach. Will you love me in the dark? I ask aloud, all alone. Yes I say in reply - I will always be your home. ~ AMK.
