Nasti Weather
Out here the weather bellows all across the land, it pushes through the trees and runs across the sand. It thunders on our roofs and knocks upon our doors it fogs and shakes our windows in a relentless, breathless roar. The woods all bend and bow, submissive to the wind, knowing that the gusts are their temperamental kin. The shoreline shifts and rolls when the rains come rushing down, water retreating to the sea, back to its mother ground. The animals all burrow and the birds tuck away, their homes are weathered hide-outs and their nests are built to sway. Out here the sun is welcomed for the warmth and calm it brings, but a storm is just as loved for the songs of strength it sings.
